Spaghetti with Marinara Sauce and Ground Turkey

Ingredients
- •1 pound ground turkey
- •1 pound spaghetti
- •28 ounces canned crushed tomatoes
- •3 cloves garlic, minced

- •½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- •2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Directions
- 1Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spoon until browned, about 5-7 minutes; drain excess fat if needed.
- 3Add minced garlic to the turkey and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5Taste sauce and adjust seasonings as needed, then stir in fresh basil.
- 6Divide cooked spaghetti among serving bowls and top generously with turkey marinara sauce.
