Spinach and Feta Pie

Ingredients
- •10 oz fresh spinach
- •1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- •1 small onion, diced
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1/4 cup olive oil
- •8 sheets phyllo dough
- •1 egg
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- •1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- 1Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- 2Add spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes, then drain excess moisture and cool slightly.
- 3Mix cooled spinach with crumbled feta, egg, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- 4Brush a 9-inch pie dish with olive oil, then layer phyllo sheets, brushing each with oil.
- 5Pour spinach mixture onto phyllo base, then fold remaining phyllo sheets over top, brushing with oil.
- 6Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
