Swedish Meatballs
Tender, savory meatballs in a rich sour cream sauce that's perfect over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- •1 lb ground beef
- •1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- •1/4 cup milk
- •1 egg
- •1/2 tsp salt
- •1/4 tsp black pepper
- •2 tbsp butter
- •1 cup beef broth
- •1/2 cup sour cream
- •1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- •1 tbsp flour
Directions
- 1Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl until just combined. Form into 16-20 meatballs.
- 2Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown meatballs on all sides, about 8 minutes total. Remove and set aside.
- 3Sprinkle flour into the same skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- 4Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- 5Return meatballs to the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 6Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
