⏱ 35 minServes 4Swedish

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp flour

Directions

  1. 1Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl until just combined. Form into 16-20 meatballs.
  2. 2Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown meatballs on all sides, about 8 minutes total. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3Sprinkle flour into the same skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. 4Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. 5Return meatballs to the skillet, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. 6Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
