Swordfish alla Siciliana

Ingredients
- •4 swordfish steaks (6 oz each)
- •3 tablespoons olive oil
- •1 pound fresh tomatoes, diced
- •1/2 cup green olives, pitted and halved
- •3 tablespoons capers, drained
- •2 cloves garlic, minced
- •1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- •2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- •2 tablespoons lemon juice
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- 1Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2Season the swordfish steaks with salt and pepper, then cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
- 3Add remaining olive oil to the skillet and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4Add diced tomatoes, olives, and capers to the skillet, stirring gently and cooking for 5 minutes.
- 5Stir in parsley, basil, and lemon juice, then simmer for 2 minutes to blend flavors.
- 6Spoon the tomato mixture over the swordfish steaks and serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra basil.
