Ingredients
- •1.5 lbs firm white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
- •1 cup plain yogurt
- •3 tablespoons tandoori masala powder
- •2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- •2 tablespoons lemon juice
- •1 tablespoon minced ginger
- •3 cloves minced garlic
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- •1 medium onion, sliced
- •1 lemon, cut into wedges
Directions
- 1Mix yogurt, tandoori masala, oil, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl to create the marinade.
- 2Place fish fillets in a shallow dish and coat generously with the tandoori marinade, ensuring even coverage. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- 3Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- 4Arrange sliced onions on the grill and grill for 2-3 minutes until softened, then push to the side.
- 5Place marinated fish fillets on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through and charred at the edges.
- 6Transfer grilled fish and onions to a serving platter and garnish with fresh lemon wedges and cilantro if desired.
