Tilapia Frita

- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •1 teaspoon salt
- •1/2 teaspoon black pepper

- •2 cups vegetable oil
- •2 limes
- •1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- •1 onion, sliced
Directions
- 1Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- 2Mix flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cumin in a shallow bowl.
- 3Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 4Coat each tilapia fillet evenly in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- 5Carefully place fillets in the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- 6Transfer fried tilapia to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- 7Serve hot with fresh lime wedges, sliced onion, and cilantro garnish.
