Tofu and Pork Stir-Fry

A savory Asian stir-fry combining crispy tofu and tender pork with vegetables in a rich soy-ginger sauce.

Ingredients

  • 14 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 12 oz pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Directions

  1. 1Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2Add remaining oil to the wok and stir-fry pork slices until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3Add onion and broccoli to the wok, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
  4. 4Add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. 5Add bell pepper and cook for 1 minute.
  6. 6Return tofu and pork to the wok. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chicken broth.
  7. 7Toss everything together and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce coats the ingredients and vegetables are tender-crisp.
  8. 8Serve hot over steamed rice.
