Tomato Bruschetta
Crispy toasted bread topped with fresh diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, and a drizzle of olive oil.

Ingredients
- •1 French baguette baguette
- •4 medium tomatoes
- •3 cloves garlic
- •1/4 cup fresh basil
- •3 tablespoons olive oil
- •1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- •1/2 teaspoon salt
- •1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- 1Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch thick pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
- 2Brush both sides of bread slices lightly with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and toast in a 400°F oven for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- 3While bread toasts, dice the tomatoes and mince the garlic and basil together in a bowl.
- 4Mix the tomato mixture with remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- 5Rub each toasted bread slice with a cut garlic clove, then top generously with the tomato mixture and serve immediately.
