Tres Leches Cake
A moist and decadent sponge cake soaked in three types of milk and topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients
- •1 cup all-purpose flour
- •1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- •0.25 teaspoon salt
- •5 large eggs, separated
- •1 cup granulated sugar
- •1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- •1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- •1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- •0.5 cup heavy cream
- •2 cups heavy whipping cream
- •3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- •1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- 2Beat egg yolks with 1 cup sugar until pale and fluffy, then add vanilla. Fold in flour mixture. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into batter.
- 3Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- 4Combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream in a bowl. Pierce the cooled cake all over with a fork and evenly pour the milk mixture over the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- 5Beat whipping cream with 3 tablespoons sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread evenly over the chilled cake.
- 6Top with sliced strawberries and serve cold.
