Đậu Hũ Chiên Sả (Vietnamese Lemongrass Tofu)
Vietnamese tofu crisped in a skillet and coated with lemongrass, garlic, chile, and a savoury soy glaze.

Ingredients
- •24 oz firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- •3 tbsp lemongrass, finely minced
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •1 fresh chili, minced
- •2 tbsp soy sauce
- •1 tsp granulated sugar
- •3 tbsp vegetable oil
Directions
- 1Pat the pressed tofu very dry.
- 2Heat vegetable oil and brown the tofu for 7–8 minutes, turning occasionally.
- 3Transfer the tofu to a plate.
- 4Cook lemongrass, garlic, and chili for 1 minute.
- 5Add soy sauce and sugar, then return the tofu.
- 6Toss for 2 minutes until the tofu is coated and fragrant.
💡 Dry tofu browns faster and absorbs less oil, giving the dish better texture.
