Ulster Fry
A hearty full Irish breakfast featuring crispy bacon, sausages, eggs, and tomatoes served alongside soda bread.

Ingredients
- •4 rashers back bacon
- •4 pork sausages
- •2 eggs
- •1 tomato, halved
- •4 slices soda bread
- •2 tbsp butter
- •2 tbsp vegetable oil
- •to taste Salt and pepper
Directions
- 1Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the sausages for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- 2Add the bacon rashers to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy.
- 3Push the sausages and bacon to the side, add the tomato halves cut-side down, and fry for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 4Create space in the pan, crack the eggs into it, and fry until the whites are set but yolks remain runny, about 3 minutes.
- 5Toast the soda bread slices in a separate pan with butter until golden brown on both sides.
- 6Arrange all components on a warm plate and season with salt and pepper before serving.
