Directions
- 1Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- 2Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
- 3Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes, then beat in vanilla extract.
- 4Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with flour, mixing until just combined.
