Ingredients

  • 4 soft hot dog-style rolls
  • 12 oz yakisoba noodles
  • 2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1/3 cup yakisoba sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup pickled ginger
  • 1 tbsp aonori

Directions

  1. 1Heat vegetable oil and cook onion, carrot, and cabbage for 4 minutes.
  2. 2Add yakisoba noodles and stir-fry for 3 minutes to separate them.
  3. 3Add yakisoba sauce and cook for 2 minutes until the noodles are glossy and relatively dry.
  4. 4Split the soft rolls without cutting all the way through.
  5. 5Pack the noodle filling tightly into each roll.
  6. 6Top with pickled ginger and aonori and serve immediately.

💡 Cook the noodle filling drier than plated yakisoba so the soft roll does not become soggy.
